Life Drawing

I have a feeling that different models makes me draw differently. This model makes me draw better for some reason, it's very strange.

Bunny loves Duckie

Bunny loves taking baths with Duckies.

Bunny likes to squeeze it under water,

and quirt the water from high up, making a Duckie shower,

and imagine a giant Duckie is squirting deadly poisonous liquid over the city and Bunny has to run for its life!

Life Drawing

The model today has very beautiful poses and great body, slightly off proportion. Very lyrical and poetic.

Life Drawing

Driving to the life drawing today, I'm truly appreciating the warm and sunny Westcoast after a week of frigid Boston .

A Week in Boston 3

This is the hotel we stayed at, The Liberty Hotel, it used to be a county jail, now is a fancy happening place.
There were so many wicket trees in that Public Park, this one was conveniently situated at a sunny spot that happens to have a bench right besides. Some very fat squirrels were watching my drawing with their judgmental beady eyes.

This was a view from a Gelato Cafe, the main reasons for choosing this spot was a) heating b) hot chocolate c) heating.

A Week in Boston 2

As seen at the Public Garden next to Boston Common, what a statue of man-on-horse looks like:

And what realman-on-horse ACTUALLY looks like:
(Sorry, park ranger)
And the horse pooped a lot.

A Week in Boston 1

This is the first time I saw East Coast America, and boy did their architecture impress! I was very taken with their old school brick buildings and I even sat out in zero degree temperature for hours to draw it. Me who don't even step out into my yard during California Winter would froze a butt off and shiver in the wind in Boston in February? go figure. Well it was either that or be bored out of my mind in the hotel room. Plus I thought I should seize the opportunity to embody a true artist's spirit by roughing it in nature, endure physical pain and weird glances from passerby and squirrels, and producing meaning pieces of artwork that will be enjoyed by generations! Having Starbucks nearby for hot chocolate and bathroom doesn't hurt too.
